Prostacyl Refund Policy

This policy applies to Prostacyl orders placed through the checkout operated by Getprostacyl, USA Authorized Prostacyl Retailer, and to no others.

Orders placed with a third-party seller, a marketplace listing or any reseller are governed by that seller's own returns terms. Getprostacyl holds no record of such orders, cannot authorise a return against them and cannot reimburse them. The where to buy page sets out what that distinction means in practice.

Where the terms below refer to the buyer, they mean the person named on the order. Where they refer to the order desk, they mean the contact points listed in the contact clause. Where they refer to the goods, they mean the bottles supplied under the order, in whatever condition they are returned.

The label names Nutrova, Tallmadge, OH 44278, as the distributor. Getprostacyl is a retailer and this policy is a retail policy. It creates no obligation on the part of the manufacturer.

A refund may be requested at any point within 60 days of the date of purchase. The date of purchase is the order date recorded on the confirmation email issued at the checkout.

The period is not extended by the transit time of the outbound parcel, by a delay in opening it, or by any subsequent event. It runs from the order date in every case.

Eligibility does not depend on the condition of the goods. Opened bottles are covered. Partly used bottles are covered. A pack in which some bottles remain sealed and others do not is covered. No requirement is placed on the buyer to return an unbroken seal.

Eligibility applies equally to all three pack sizes. The single bottle, the three-bottle pack and the six-bottle pack carry identical terms, and the larger packs are not subject to a shorter period or a partial-return restriction.

A request made after the 60-day period has expired falls outside these terms. The order desk may exercise discretion in individual circumstances, and any such discretion is not a variation of this policy.

No return may be despatched before a return authorisation has been issued by the order desk.

An authorisation is obtained by contacting the order desk, by phone or email (both listed in the site footer), and supplying the order ID recorded on the confirmation email, the name in which the order was placed, and the delivery postcode.

The order desk will confirm the authorisation and supply the return address at that point. The address is issued per authorisation and should not be assumed from a previous order or taken from any other page of this website.

Goods received at a returns address without a current authorisation may be refused or returned to sender, and any carriage arising from a refusal is the buyer's cost.

The website address published in the footer of this site is an editorial contact point. It has no access to order records and cannot issue an authorisation. Correspondence sent there concerning an order will not start the process and does not suspend the 60-day period.

• All bottles supplied under the order should be returned, including those that remain sealed.
• A written note bearing the buyer's full name, the email address used at the checkout and the order ID should be enclosed inside the parcel.
• Bottles should be packed so that they arrive intact. A returned parcel whose contents cannot be identified delays reconciliation.
• The return authorisation reference, where one has been issued, should be written on the outside of the parcel.
• No requirement is made as to the original outer packaging, and its absence does not affect eligibility.

The purpose of the enclosed note is reconciliation rather than formality. Returns are matched to orders by name and order ID, and a parcel containing neither cannot be matched to a payment. This is the most frequent cause of a delayed reimbursement under these terms.

Carriage on a return is payable by the buyer and is not reimbursed under these terms.

The buyer is advised to return goods by a tracked service. Risk in the goods remains with the buyer until the parcel is received at the returns address, and a tracked service is the only means by which receipt can be evidenced.

Where a return cannot be shown to have been delivered, no reimbursement can be made. This is a consequence of the risk position rather than a discretionary decision, and it applies equally to both parties.

The tracking reference should be retained by the buyer until reimbursement has appeared on the card, rather than until the parcel is shown as delivered. Those two events are separated by the processing and issuing periods set out in the next clause.

Outbound carriage charged at the time of the order, being $19.99 on the single-bottle pack and nil on the other two, forms part of the sum paid at the checkout. The shipping page sets out those charges. The order desk will confirm the sum to be reimbursed on a given order at the point the authorisation is issued.

The periods run consecutively and begin when the returned goods arrive, not when they are despatched.

Reimbursement is made to the payment method used at the checkout. No alternative method is offered, and a reimbursement cannot be redirected to a different card or account.

The second period is outside the control of the order desk. Enquiries made during it will be answered with the processing date, which is the only information available to the desk once the sum has been released.

Where no reimbursement has appeared after both periods have elapsed, the buyer should contact the order desk quoting the order ID and the return tracking reference.

The order desk and the website desk are separate. Only the first can act on an order.

The distinction between the two desks is material to these terms rather than a matter of convenience. The 60-day period continues to run while an enquiry sits with the editorial address, and no suspension of the period arises from a misdirected contact.

• The order confirmation email, which carries the order ID and the date of purchase on which the return period is calculated.
• The despatch email carrying the outbound tracking reference.
• The return authorisation reference issued by the order desk.
• The return carriage receipt and tracking reference, retained until reimbursement appears.
• The lot number printed on the bottles supplied, being PRO-26/GE-3008 on stock despatched by this desk.
• A record of the date on which the capsules were first taken, which is relevant to any discussion of the period but does not alter it.

These records are not conditions of eligibility. They are the documents by which a return is reconciled to an order and a reimbursement to a payment, and their absence extends the time a claim takes rather than defeating it.

This is a policy governing the reimbursement of a purchase. It makes no representation as to the effect of the product and none as to any outcome for any individual.

Prostacyl is a dietary supplement. It is not a drug, it is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The label makes three structure and function statements and this policy neither extends nor qualifies them.

The length of the return period carries no implication about efficacy. A sixty-day window is a commercial term. The published evidence concerning the ingredients on this panel is set out on the ingredients page and the timeline page, including where it is unfavourable: the 2023 Cochrane review records a high-certainty finding against saw palmetto in this indication, while the pooled pygeum trials point the opposite way.

Nothing in this policy is a substitute for clinical assessment. MedlinePlus sets out what an evaluation of these complaints involves, and the American Urological Association's guideline does the same in clinical terms. A refund addresses a purchase; it does not address a symptom.
